I am trying enter these figures in opening balance in myob but my myob is showing amount left to be allocated -699.
my tutor gave feedback.
. There are 3 balances that need to be entered as a negative amount to appear on the correct side of the trial balance. Allowance for Doubtful Debts is one of them.
Review your trial balance with the one provided (see below)
The amount left to allocate needs to return to a zero balance. Historical Balancing Account should not include a balance.
DO I NEED TO PUT THREE BALANCE IN – 39 ALLOWANCE FOR DOUBTFUL DEBTS IN OPENING BALANCE AND WHAT ARE THE OTHER TWO BALANCES.
